TOURS INCLUDE:
Luxury motor coach, fully equipped transportation. Excellent hotel
accommodations, sightseeing, tours, admissions, and most meals as
specified in itinerary including taxes and gratuities.
GRATUITIES:
As indicated, all gratuities are included on your tour with the
exception of the customary gratuity to the tour guide and driver. In
response to many of your requests for advice on what is considered
customary, we offer you this information only as a guide:
A large part of the success of a tour is due to our drivers and escorts. We believe that a gratuity is In appreciation of the degree of service, attention to your needs and the personal attitude displayed toward your group. With that said, you can see why a gratuity does not lend itself very well to a standardized amount. However as an average and varying with your experience, you may wish to consider a per-person, per day gratuity of $2-$5 for the escort and driver.
RESERVATIONS:
Day Tours -
Once a reservation is made. full payment must be received within 10
days. Call for our up-to-date listing and watch your newspaper
for additional tours, and special events!
Multi-Day Tours -
Your seats will be assigned at the time of reservation. S50 per person
deposit is due within 10 days of booking. Full payment must be
received before 45 days before trip departure. In some cases, a
deposit & payment are required upon reservation.
CANCELLATIONS:
All cancellations must be called-in during regular business
hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Day Tours -
$5 per person fee (plus cost for tickets, meals and other
non-recoverable expenses). Cancellations within 48 business hours
prior to departure are non-refundable.
Multi-Day Tours -
Cancellations within 60 days from departure will be subject to a $20
fee per person, plus any additional charges for non-recoverable
expenses. Cancellations for other modes of transportation (ie. air,
rail, meals, or cruise) have more restrictive penalties and will vary.
NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 48 BUSINESS HOURS PRIOR TO
DEPARTURE ON ALL TOURS. Be clearly advised that from time to time, a
tour departure may be cancelled due to lack of participation, in which
you will be fully refunded. Every effort will be made to adhere to
specifics shown herin and in itineraries. However, circumstances may
necessitate alterations.
To avoid disappointment, reservations for any tour should be made at least TWO months prior to the departure date. If a tour is "sold out," please ask to be placed on the waiting list. "Drop Outs" do occur.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is available and recommended due to the high cost of penalties passed
on to us for cancellations. We know that unforeseen circumstances can
arise and if they do, we want you to be protected.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:
Is required for ALL trips outside of the United States. US Citizens
are required to carry one of the following: Either a passport or
certified birth certificate with raised seal, along with a government
issued photo I.D. when traveling to Canada. As of 2007, a Passport
will be required on all ocean cruises. All other countries require a
valid US Passport. Nothing else is acceptable! Please contact us if a
member in your party is not an American citizen, and we will apprise
you of any additional necessary travel documents.
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
Are available in any denomination, good toward any Wade Tour, have no
expiration date, and may be purchased by phone. For that special
person or occasion, give a Wade Tours, Inc. GIFT CERTIFICATE.
SMOKING:
In order to satisfy our valued patrons we have a policy of NO SMOKING
on our tour coaches. For the convenience of the smokers, however, we
will make frequent stops for rest and relaxation en route to our
destination. We will be happy to reserve a smoking room at your
request when making your reservation.
RESPONSIBILITY:
The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a
tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make
changes in the itinerary whenever the Company deems it necessary for
the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour participants, or to
cancel a tour at any time.
RETURN TIMES:
Return times listed on our itineraries are approximate. These times
will vary according to the daily activities on the last day of your
tour, combined with traffic and weather conditions.
BAGGAGE:
One large suitcase, and one carry-on bag per person.
TRAVELERS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE:
Persons needing individual assistance for walking, dining or other
personal needs must be accompanied by a companion.

per person will not be required until 60 days prior to departure and
full payment 45 days prior.
