We’ll begin this tour at the Boston Aquarium, within its compact exhibit space, the Aquarium shows off everything from a lumbering, 500-pound sea turtle to a tapestry of colorful tropical fish. Flap your wings at the African and rockhopper penguins basking in the floodlights, and welcome the little blue penguins recently added to the renovated exhibit. The little blues, the smallest of the world's 17 penguin species, are a noisy little bunch. Then follow the spiral walkway up and around the Giant Ocean Tank. Ask about feeding times. Afterwards, visit the famous Quincy Market & Faneuil Hall, a central market place located nearby offering shops & restaurants or choose to spend your free time on the Old Town Trolley Tour for a sightseeing tour at your own pace. Get off at any designated stop then re-board another trolley for the completion of your tour. Full Trolley tour lasts approximately 1 ½ hours and boarding is right at the wharf in front of the New England Aquarium. |
