on the Hudson

We will begin our day at The National Purple Heart Hall
of Honor and see a very moving film on the origin of the Purple
Heart. At this wonderful new museum, we will also hear many
veterans stories, and visit the exhibition galleries for a
first-hand experience that cannot be conveyed in history books.
After a short drive, we will board the “Commander”, a historic
vessel built in 1917 for 1 ½ hours. Enjoy a box LUNCH while
seeing the breathtaking views of the Hudson Highlands. After our
cruise we will depart for the Brotherhood Winery, oldest winery
in America for a guided tour and tasting. |
